Prior to your appointment we advise you to apply oil to your ears to help soften the hardened wax for at least 3-5 days. This will aid the removal process. We recommend that you use medical grade olive oil spray or drops, like the brand Earol. Please follow the guidance in the leaflet provided on how to apply the oil spray/drops.
We cannot treat your ears if you are suffering with any of the following:
- Certain ear surgery
- Known recent perforated ear drum
- Ear infections over the last 6 weeks
